October 26, 2007 - Temple Trip to Hong Kong

Let’s talk Hong Kong! It was an amazing trip, gene ee.
[Note: Cheryl's companion and some other Mongolian missionaries went to the temple in Hong Kong. Cheryl remained in Mongolia with a temporary companion while her companion was gone.]

The missionaries were five days in Hong Kong: one day seeing the sights and the other four spent entirely at the temple. Here’s Sister Khorloo standing in front of the entrance to the temple.

They all had their very first taste of McDonald’s. Surprisingly enough Mickey D’s hasn’t made it here to Mongolia yet, but Mary Kay has. I always knew door-to-door make-up sellers were scary, I just didn’t realize how much.

Here’s a picture of e’rybody standing in front of a hazy harbor, in case you couldn’t tell. It was hot in Hong Kong, and then they all got to come back and pack on the coats and three-layers of tights that we’re sporting these days.

All in all it was a good time and they are all excited to get back to work. Well, my time is pretty much up. I’ll just tell you quickly that we do have the two baptisms tonight for Anudari and Namuunaa. Pictures will be forthcoming!
